Board Policy
IJIEG maintains a two-tier governance structure comprising the Editorial Board and the Advisory Board to ensure efficient journal operations and rigorous academic oversight. These bodies work in a complementary manner to uphold publication quality, ethical standards, transparency, and a robust peer-review system.
Editorial Board:
The Editorial Board manages the journal’s operational and editorial processes. Its responsibilities include handling submissions, administering the double-blind peer-review process, coordinating with authors and reviewers, conducting plagiarism screening, supporting production logistics, implementing journal policies, and issuing corrections where necessary. Final editorial decisions, including acceptance, revision, or rejection of manuscripts, rest with the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the Editorial Board.
Advisory Board:
The Advisory Board provides scholarly and strategic support to enhance the journal’s academic quality and international standing. Members may participate in the peer-review process by reviewing manuscripts and recommending qualified reviewers, while also advising on journal scope, policy development, and emerging research directions. The Board functions in an advisory capacity; although members contribute expert evaluations, final publication decisions remain under the authority of the Editor-in-Chief, ensuring clear governance and accountability.
