About the Journal

The International Journal of Islamic Economics and Governance (IJIEG), published by the International Center for Research in Islamic Economics (ICRIE), is a peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to advancing scholarship in Islamic economics, Islamic banking and finance, Islamic monetary economics, and Islamic social finance. Issued bi-annually, the journal welcomes rigorous empirical and theoretical research that contributes meaningfully to contemporary academic and policy debates. IJIEG is accredited by the Higher Education Commission (Y-Category), indexed in DOAJ and Google Scholar, follows a double-blind peer review process, assigns DOIs to all published articles, and charges no submission or publication fees.
