Instructions for Author
1. Submission Guidelines
All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system (OJS) via the Submissions page. Authors must register an account on the journal website before making a submission. Submissions sent by email are not processed.
IJIEG considers original scholarly contributions in the form of research articles, research notes, review articles, comments, rejoinders, and book reviews. Manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere (unless clearly explained in the Comments to the Editor).
For the journal’s official submission workflow and checklist, please refer to MAKE A SUBMISSION.
2. File Format and Basic Requirements

Submit the manuscript in Microsoft Word (recommended) or OpenOffice/RTF format.

9. Review and Revision
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Where revisions are requested, authors must submit:
-
A revised manuscript, and
-
A point-by-point response addressing reviewer comments.
10. Publication Ethics
IJIEG is committed to ethical publishing and follows HEC ethical guidelines and COPE principles.
All manuscripts undergo a similarity check (e.g., Turnitin). Similarity reports are interpreted through editorial and subject-based judgment. As a screening benchmark aligned with HEC guidance:
-
A similarity index above 19% may lead to rejection or conditional editorial handling.
-
The findings/conclusion sections are treated more strictly (typically not exceeding 9%).
-
High overlap from any single source (for example, 5% or more) is carefully examined.
Relevant journal policies:
11. Publication Fee
-
No submission fee
-
No APCs
-
No publication fee
(See also Open Access and Copyright Policy.)
