Abstract

It is crystal clear that spirituality is the core and integral part of the religion of Islam as it is perceived that it effects on every religion. A person, who is bestowed with spirituality, succeeds to achieve the key purpose of his religion. This essential part of the religion of Islam is termed as Al-Ihsan that means performance of good deeds which is considered the uppermost rank of the spiritualty. It is evident that Spirituality is based on the highest level of ethics which qualifies human being to reach the highest rank of moral values and grants him the love of Allah Almighty and his beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him). Likewise, when we see the body system of human being from the perspective of science and human intellect we realize that the spiritual system of a mankind bears a close resemblance to his biological system. The apparent dissimilarity between both systems can be termed as the human body system is the outward system that can be seen due to its connection with biological substance, and spiritual system is the inward system that is associated with the soul which cannot be seen. Additionally, the spiritual system is the core part of a mankind, and the core is usually concealed. So it has been concealed in the human being’s biological structure made from clay. This study explores the association and resemblance between the spiritual system and biological system of a mankind from the perspective of science and human intellect. It also investigates the fact that a mankind is the compound of both biological substance and soul, and the fitness and disorder of both systems effects on each other. So, the healthy man is a person who is fit in terms of his body and soul. This study concludes with some findings and recommendations emphasizing on the fact that a mankind should recognize his both Spiritual and biological system with an extensive approach that adherence to the treatment of spiritual health is more significant than the treatment of physical health of a mankind as his real life depends on it, and he is considered a stagnant and useless entity in a human society without spirituality which empowers him to reach the upmost level of the human ethics and well-founded standards of right and wrong in a human society and enables him to seek closeness and love of Allah Almighty and his beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him).
