Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo a thorough review process to assess their originality, significance, adequacy of documentation, reader interest, and overall composition.
Important Notes:
-
If the journal’s editors receive any allegation of research misconduct regarding a published article, the publisher or editor will follow the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines or equivalent protocols to address such concerns.
-
Manuscripts not submitted according to the journal’s guidelines will be returned to the authors for correction prior to further processing.
-
Every manuscript is screened through Turnitin for similarity. Articles exceeding a 10% overall similarity index, or with any single similarity source above 3%, will be returned to the author for clarification or revision.
-
Revised manuscripts are evaluated based on the authors’ responses to reviewers’ suggestions and criticisms during the initial review phase.
-
Manuscripts passing this stage are forwarded to two external peer reviewers as well as statistical reviewers. This process follows a double-blind peer review to ensure impartiality.
-
Further technical checks for epidemiological, statistical, ethical, and language accuracy are performed before final consideration.
-
Accepted manuscripts undergo editing by the Editor’s office for scientific accuracy, clarity, and formatting consistency.
The editorial board of JACOR reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of any manuscript at any stage of the publication process.
