Research Policy
The Journal of Advanced Corpus-Oriented Research (JACOR), published by the Corpus Research Center, Minhaj University Lahore, is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity, scholarly excellence, and ethical research practices. The following research policies guide the submission, review, and publication processes of the journal.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors must confirm compliance with the following items. Submissions that do not meet these requirements may be returned:

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration elsewhere (unless an explanation is provided in the Comments to the Editor).

The manuscript file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF format.

URLs or DOIs for all references (where available) have been included.

The manuscript is single-spaced, uses a 12-point font, and employs italics (not underlining), except for URL addresses.

All figures, tables, and illustrations are embedded at the appropriate points in the text rather than placed at the end.

The manuscript complies with the stylistic and bibliographic guidelines stated in the Author Guidelines.
Articles
Submissions are considered under the Articles section by default, unless otherwise specified. Authors are encouraged to submit original, unpublished research within the journal's thematic scope.
Privacy Statement
All names, email addresses, and personal information entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of JACOR and will not be shared with any third party.
Publication Fee
JACOR does not charge any publication fee. All submissions and publications are completely free of cost for authors.
Peer Review Process
JACOR follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process:

Plagiarism Check: All submissions undergo initial screening using Turnitin.

Editorial Review: Manuscripts are evaluated by the editorial team for suitability and quality.

External Review: Suitable manuscripts are sent to two or three referees for double-blind peer review.

Feedback and Revision: Authors receive anonymized reviewer feedback and are required to revise and resubmit based on the recommendations.

Decision: Final decisions are made after evaluating the revised manuscript. The entire process typically takes two to three months.
Publication Frequency
JACOR is published bi-annually, with two issues per year (June and December).
