In the history of mankind, there has not been a single person who has achieved more virtue and dignity than Muhammad (peace be upon him). Wherever Islam reached in the world, naat-gui was also practiced, When the light of Islam came to the state of Bahawalpur, Muslims wrote naat kalam, Non-Muslims also wrote pious poems.
The poets of Bahawalpur state who wrote the naat,s history, Mir Afzal Hasan Afzal Dehlavi, Qudsi Saharan Puri, Sheikh Irshad Nabi Raz, meer Wajid Ali Zar Bilgrami, Mirza Ashraf Gorgani, Mir Nasir, Ali Mohsin, MeerNasir Ali and WaJadi, Khawaja ghulam Fareed Syed Shams ul Deen Geelani, Abdul Rehman Azad Hakeem Abdul Haq shaoq.
