Abstract

In the presented paper the original manuscript and 1st edition of Iqbal’s well-known poetry Collection Ramoz-e-Bekhudi is compared with the last edition published during Iqbal’s lifetime. So that modifications and reforms can be marked. In Ramoz-e-Bekhudi, forms of changes were visible not only in the original manuscript but also appeared in the three publications in Iqbal’s life. They have been corrected, edited, and modified. Through this practice, Iqbal’s poetic and artistic exercise has been estimated. From this fact, it is evident that how much he was aware of the complexibilities of the poetic process and how much he strived to achieve meaningfulness.
